MCI Forum is a comprehensive forum platform built from scratch using Laravel and Livewire. As the software architect and security lead on this project, I was responsible for designing the architecture and ensuring the platform was secure and reliable. Some of the key features and responsibilities included:
- Developing a scalable architecture to support high levels of concurrency and handle performance issues
- Implementing security measures to protect user data and prevent security breaches
- Creating a cluster of servers to ensure the platform was highly available and reliable
- Implementing Minio for asset storage, Zabbix for monitoring, and MeiliSearch for user searches
- Running Sentry for error tracking to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Using Git as the version control system and GitLab for continuous integration and deployment
- Implementing the Scrum methodology for team management and project delivery
The platform was successfully launched, and the team delivered on time and within budget. The architecture design and security measures implemented ensured that the platform was stable, secure, and scalable to meet the needs of users. The success of this project was due to the strong collaboration between the development team and the client, which I helped facilitate.
